Who are we?

We are the Telecommunications Company of Cuba S.A. (ETECSA, for its acronyms in Spanish), established in July, 1994, and aimed at providing public telecommunications services throughout the Republic of Cuba.

As the unique telecommunications operator, we guarantee the provision of fixed, mobile, data and internet services. In addition, we transport the radio and television signals; subleasing of international capacity by satellite and assistance services to our customers, providing them with information as well as commercial and technical management.

We have a great responsibility in the socioeconomic development of the country, and specifically in the computerization of society, by guaranteeing the technological infrastructure for an effective connectivity.

We are fueled by knowledge from professionals, young and experimented people who are highly committed to and involved in the challenge of overcoming, on a daily basis, the accelerated advance of new technologies.

We have more than 18 000 workers, graduated from higher and technological teaching centers; highly-qualified in disciplines such as telecommunications, computing, electronics, automation and telephone and data systems, as well as business management.

The Company's headquarters is in Havana, we have a diversified commercial network stretched out over national territory, with more than 400 commercial offices, more than 430 telephone assistance centers and supported by a network of more than 28 000 Telecommunications Agents whose aim is at achieving a greater capillarity and generating employment sources.
