Users in Cuba receive a message (SMS) informing them that their mobiles have been recharged. However, it is important to keep in mind that SMS notifications are valid for a certain period of time and, in order to receive them, cell phones must be active and located in a place with adequate coverage.  Customers can also find out when making balance inquiries.

The person or beneficiary must pick up the phone at the MLC sales office declared by the Customer (Person purchasing the offer from abroad) at the time of purchase.

At the MLC sales office, beneficiaries must file a secret code made up of 12 digits and their identification document (ID card if Cuban or passport if foreigner).

The buyer or customer must inform the beneficiary about the secret code (12 digits) and the office where the phone must picked up. 

The beneficiary must go to the office selected by the customer as of 72 hours after the purchase has been made and before its expiration date (30 calendar days).

The warranty policy for cellphones purchased is as follows:

• • The equipment has a warranty period of 3 months.
  • The terminal replacement will be carried out at MLC Sales Offices.
  • If a replacement is necessary and the equipment is not available, a similar phone with higher features and price will be delivered.  The company has 72 hours (3 business days) maximum, to decide the new equipment to be delivered to the beneficiary, and the beneficiary and the buyer will not have to pay the difference in price, as it will be borned by the company.

Cellphones that are not picked up during the established period lose their validity and will not be delivered to the beneficiaries.  In these cases, customers has no right  to claim the offers to the dealer.

At the moment of collecting the offer there could be inconsistencies between the information provided by the beneficiary and the information provided by the system at the sales office.  In this case, the beneficiary should contact the customer to confirm the secret code or file a complaint with the dealer that sold the offer.

 There should be no problems with the availability of the resources included in the offer, because the sales office declared in the service order that it has the responsible for keeping the stock of the items that have already been purchased from abroad until they are delivered to the beneficiary.
